    Hotels and B'n'Bs (including AirBnB) have to legally have the higher specification of Fire retardancy known as Crib 5 which is standard in all of our Hotel mattresses.

    How do Airsprung Contract Beds ensure they comply with all legislation?

    • Ignition Source 5 (also known as Crib 5) test certification.
    • BS7177 2008 (Medium Hazard) Suitable for Hospitality sector.
    • All models are specified with FR treated fabric and fillings.
    • All contract mattresses contain upholstery that has FR properties.

    Each mattress is tested in our own on site testing laboratory, at both development stage and through mass production, to ensure BS7177 compliance. All items are strictly scheduled for re-testing on a regular basis.
